CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer will train responders in breathing and cardiac emergencies for adult, children and infants. Junior Lifeguard Training
Junior Lifeguarding has a strong focus on developing swimming skills and lifesaving skills. This is to help participants (ages 9-14) meet the Lifeguarding Course Prerequisite and introduce them to the skills required for the job. The course also introduces participants to lifesaving skills, such as in water rescues, use of a rescue tube, and first aid, CPR and AED.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program trains prospective guards with the skills and knowledge necessary to help patrons of the aquatic facilities. This program includes the lifeguard course with aquatic specific First Aid, CPR and AED training. The course includes a book and resuscitation mask. All students must be at least 15 years of age by first day of the course– no exceptions. Attendance at all classes is required for certification. This course is a review course that includes certification in American Red Cross lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED training. All students must be at least 15 years of age by first day of the course and hold a current Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification– no exceptions. The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid course is to give individuals the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrive. Water Safety Instructor
Whether you want to splash around with kids and teach them to swim, help children and adults refine their strokes or teach diving safety techniques, you can do it as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor.
