Before and After School Care will be available at Fairview, Mowrey, Hooverville and Summitview schools.

Before & After School Program

K-5th grade.        Our DHS licensed Before School Care program provides a safe environment for elementary school students. The before school program runs between 6:30am until the start of school and the after school program runs from dismissal until 6:00pm (Monday-Friday, days school is in session). Partial week attendance is available. Children will play games, make crafts, have free time in the gym and can get help with their school work. These programs are offered onsite at Fairview, Summitview*, Mowrey and Hooverville Elementary schools (also available for children that attend St. Andrews). The programs end on the last day of school. All participants must pay by WEEKLY bank withdrawal.

*During delays, Summitview students will be dropped off at the Y.

School’s Out Club

K-5th grade.         The YMCA provides all day child care for students when our local public schools are closed for the holiday or in-service days from 7:00 am-5:30 pm, but please arrive no later than 8:45 am. Swimming, games, crafts, movies and more will be planned. School’s Out Club is also open to members and BASC participants in the WASD.   Children should bring a packed lunch, swimsuit and towel unless otherwise noted. Snacks will be provided in the afternoons at no additional charge.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for a full refund for the day.

Snow Day!

K-5th grade.         The YMCA provides all day child care for students when our local public schools are closed for weather. Parents may bring their children from 7:00 am-5:30 pm, but please arrive no later than 8:45 am. Snow Day Care is also open to non-members in the WASD.  You do not need to be enrolled in the before &/or after school care program or be a member to participate. Children should bring a packed lunch, swimsuit and towel. An afternoon snack will be provided at no additional charge. Enrollment must be paid when child is dropped off at the facility.

We are now accepting registration for the 2020-2021 school year. Currently enrolled participants as of March 14th will have first preference until July 17th, 2020.
