Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguard Certification
A multi-step process to earn your lifeguard certification through online learning, classroom training and swim skills competency. Lifeguard certification lasts two years and your class fee includes First Aid and CPR certifications along with the lifeguard book and mask. Must be at least 15 years old and pass a swim test. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer will train responders in breathing and cardiac emergencies for adult, children and infants. Participants must complete all practical skills and score 80% or higher on all written tests. The minimum age for this course is 15. Please email email@example.com for more info.
Junior Lifeguard Training
Junior Lifeguarding has a strong focus on developing swimming skills and lifesaving skills. This is to help participants (ages 9-14) meet the Lifeguarding Course Prerequisite and introduce them to the skills required for the job. The course also introduces participants to lifesaving skills, such as in water rescues, use of a rescue tube, and first aid, CPR and AED.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program trains prospective guards with the skills and knowledge necessary to help patrons of the aquatic facilities. This program includes the lifeguard course with aquatic specific First Aid, CPR and AED training. The course includes a book and resuscitation mask. All students must be at least 15 years of age by first day of the course– no exceptions. Attendance at all classes is required for certification. This course is a review course that includes certification in American Red Cross lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED training. All students must be at least 15 years of age by first day of the course and hold a current Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification– no exceptions. The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid course is to give individuals the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrive.
