Running Clinics
Whether you’re brand new to running or looking to build confidence with a supportive group, the YMCA Running Clinic is designed to help you get started the right way. Led by Dawn Bergquist, this beginner-friendly run/walk clinic focuses on proper form, injury prevention, and building healthy habits in a fun and encouraging environment.
Participants will learn:
- Proper running form and posture
- Warm-up techniques
- The basics of the run/walk method
- Hydration and recovery tips
- Shoe and gear recommendations
- Injury prevention strategies
- Helpful beginner running tips
Each session includes a guided 20–30 minute workout designed for beginners of all fitness levels.
