Thank You, Blood Donors!

On March 18, the Waynesboro Area YMCA partnered with the Central PA Blood Bank, registering 36 donors and collecting 25 pints of blood—enough to help up to 75 local patients!

A special shoutout to Kylie, a young first-time donor who knew she was O-negative, one of the rarest blood types! With only 7% of the population having O-negative blood, her donation can truly make a difference. Kylie donated because she understood the need and thought “it was cool to help a lot of people.”
